Internet Service. Internet service is available for members only.

Book Discussions. An informal book discussion group meets on the first Saturday of each month. Members meet with fellow bibliophiles to discuss books they have recently enjoyed. There is no assigned reading and all library members are welcome to attend.

Brown Bag Lunch Programs. Brown bag lunch Programs are presented on the third Tuesday of each month.  Members and non-members are invited to bring a lunch and enjoy lectures by artists, authors, poets, musicians, and other interesting speakers. These programs are free of charge.

Special Programs. Two special programs are held annually. Our spring program, held in April or May, features monologists, authors, artists and other well-known entertainers and a special family program is held each summer for children and all who are young at heart. Both programs are open to the public free of charge.

Book Sales. Book sales are held throughout the year and are open to the public. We welcome donations for the sale.

Tours. Tours of this historic building are available to groups and individuals. Contact the library at 828-859-9535 for details.

Parking. The library's parking lot is available for members only. Public parking for the handicapped is available in front of the library.
