Additionally, the library subscribes to over 60 periodicals to accommodate the diverse interests of our members. The large print book collection contains fiction, non-fiction, and biographies. In other media there are award winning films on DVD and video tapes as well as books-on-tape and CDs. Over the years the library has acquired a sizeable arts and crafts collection from generous donors. Acquisitions are selected by a Media Selection Comittee and the Administrator and are based on member interest, permanence of interest, authority of author and publisher, literary merit and significance of the subject matter.
