UPCOMING PROGRAMS (PROGRAMS ARE HELD IN THE LIBRARY UNLESS NOTED OTHERWISE)

First Saturday of each month - Booklover's discussion group. Members discuss books they have enjoyed. There is no assigned reading.

May 21 - Brown Bag Lunch - Dr. John Mark Dean  will discuss the University of South Carolina's Thomas Cooper Society and the Rare Books and Special Collections Department at USC. He will also speak about the Matthew J. and Arlyn Bruccoli Collection and Fitgerald's time in Tryon.

June 2 - 3:00 p.m. - John McCutcheon, folk singer, in the Tryon Fine Arts Center. Tickets:$10.00 adults, children under 10 years of age accompanied by an adult are admitted free of charge. Tickets are available at Lanier Library now and will be available at the Tryon Fine Arts Center before the performance.

June 18 - Brown Bag Lunch - Kevin Brode, bagpipe player.

July 13 - 3:00 p.m - Annual Family program for the young and young at heart. Made possible by the Kirby Endowment Fund and the Polk County Community Foundation. The program is free and everyone is welcome.
